Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them, providing support and training and campaigning to raise awareness of the condition. The charity is a membership organisation which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia (including carers, health professionals and people with dementia themselves) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) is the international leader in the dementia field, with offices in London, Belfast and Stirling. The DSDC actively works to improve services for people with dementia by providing innovative training for health and social care professionals working with people with dementia and promoting dementia friendly design throughout their flagship Iris Murdoch building in Stirling.
